Non-contact measurement of printed and imprinted surfaces
Edge-adhesive tape and decorative paper are produced in a large variety of decor and structures in large batches. However, if the customer detects that the coil/spool lengths are too short, then it is a considerable effort to reapply the respective product to compensate for shortfalls. Correct sales lengths or coil/spool lengths are ensured by the use of μSPEED systems.

- Measurement accuracy with tactile measuring equipment or via drive: typically 0.5-2%
- Measurement accuracy with non-contact length measurement μSPEED: typical: 0.5%
- Amortization: 3 months, direct encoder replacement, no other modifications needed
