ELOVIS Measurement Solutions for Textile Industry
ELOVIS offers comprehensive measurement solutions for the textile industry. The solutions extend to the permanent optimization of production and fabric inspection machines as well as to measuring solutions for troubleshooting in service applications. An important field of application is the calibrated length measurement in textile fabric inspection, when the finished product is sold by length or by square meter. Other applications include length measurement for incoming and outgoing goods, as well as in production machines and slitter rewinders, where it is necessary to obtain precise information about material lengths. However, µSPEED laser encoders are also used to measure speeds and differential speeds, e.g. for measuring elongation and shrinkage of the goods. SLM longitudinal light sensors from ELOVIS are used to measure the width of finished rolls during their transport on warp conveyor belts.
