You want to measure the length of parts with free-form edges? … With the μVIS based 2D and 3D sensors a variety of edge shapes can be captured and measured with high accuracy. In addition to the maximum elongations in longitudinal direction, if desired or necessary, the y and z components of edges can also be measured. μVIS systems can be adapted to a variety of conditions. Also, the achievable measurement accuracy is customizable by cascading sensors. Of particular importance in such projects is the recording and analysis of the measurement task prior to the project realization.
