In January 2019, a paper length measurement machine was successfully conformity assest according to MID 2014/32 / EU. The paper cut to length and width on the roll cutting machine is sold by area. The length measurement takes place in a rewinder with the ELOVIS MID-COUNTER, which is operated with a μSPEED laser encoder. The width measurement necessary for the determination of the area takes place with an embodied length measure. The system is approved for speeds up to almost 1,500 m/min.
