Non-contact speed measurement on liquid surfaces

Measuring the speed of liquid surfaces presents a particular challenge. µSPEED sensors even measure velocities at different locations across the width of web coating operations.

Typical Application Data:

  • Speeds: typically up to 1,800 m / min
  • Measurement with conventional methods only indirectly possible
  • Measurement accuracy with non-contact length measurement μSPEED: typically 0.1% – 0.25%
  • Amortization: 1 – 3 months, measured value display, data storage and system control
