Non-contact final measurement of long plates up to approx. 10 m in length
Plates with lengths of 2 m to 6.5 m made of metal, sheet metal, wood, composite material or MDF, HDF, OSB should be automatically measured after the cut. For such measurement tasks, the non-contact, two-part length-section light scanner SLM-2 is predestined. With an accuracy in the sub-millimeter range, it provides reliable protection against both individual errors and consequential errors. Warning signals, error signals, readjustment of the cutting unit can be applied up as functions. The two-part longitudinal photoelectric proximity switch covers a measuring range of over 4.5 m between the shortest and longest material to be measured, without having to be repositioned, changed or parameterised. Target length examples: 1.5 m to 6 m or 3 m to 7.5 m.
