Final measurement of extruded cable ducts and cable guides
Cable ducts, wiring channels and cable guides should have the correct length after extrusion and cutting. Cable ducts that are too short are rejects, parts that are too long must be reworked. It is the task of the ELOVIS length section light scanner to record the lengths exactly after cutting and, if necessary, to output a control signal to the cutting unit. If confined installation conditions or cross slides make the use of a continuous light grid impossible, a two-part length-section light grid of the type SLM-2 is used.
