Inline length measurement after the saw or cutting unit
After sawing, tubes and profiles are usually randomly checked for correct length. With the μSPEED system, the length test is carried out on every pipe or profile with consistently high measurement accuracy. All profile and tube lengths, all colors and almost all materials and cross-sectional geometries can be measured with μSPEED.
Typical Application Data:
- Material lengths: typically 1 m to 25 m
- Material speeds: typically up to 300 m / min (continuous measurement, without stop)
- Measurement accuracy with non-contact length measurement μSPEED: typically 0.1% – 0.03%
- Amortization: 3 months, bracket required for μSPEED
