Non-contact final measurement of translucent profiles and tubes
Even the final length measurement of translucent plastic profiles is easily and accurately possible with the non-contact ELOVIS SLM length-section light scanner. In most cases it is possible to measure translucent and opaque profiles with one and the same system setting.
Typical application data:
- Measurement of transparent profiles and pipes after cutting, before packaging
- Production speeds: typically up to 50 m / min
- Problem with contacting measuring instruments: only random checks possible, accuracy: +/- 1mm / m
- Measurement accuracy with non-contact length measurement SLM: typically 0.1mm / m
