Slip-free measurement of braided and stranded surfaces
Measurement of rope lengths in the stranding machine by means of non-contact laser-encoders. Accurate measurement despite uneven and coarsely stranded or braided surfaces. Measuring diameters from 1mm to 250mm (or more). The measurement with the ELOVIS laser-encoder is almost independent of material, permanently accurate and can not be beat with touching methods.

- Material speed: typically up to 150 m/min
- Measuring accuracy with tactile measuring equipment or via drive: typically 5%
- Measuring accuracy with non-contact length measurement μSPEED: typical: 0.1%
- Amortization: 2 months, direct encoder replacement, sufficient material guidance necessary
