Accurate length measurement of paper, tissue, packaging material regardless of grammage – also as a basis for square size accounting. Length measurement of the tambur, on the winder or longitudinal / cross cutter with high material speed. The contactless laser encoder system μSPEED serves as a gauge which is maintenance-free, almost independent of material and can be used with consistently high accuracy at high and low speeds.

- Measurement accuracy with tactile measuring equipment or via drive: typically 1 – 2%
