Damit ist das System der kleinste Smartsensor dieser Leistungsklasse weltweit. \u00b5SPEED smartsensor wird \u00fcber einen 24 V Anschluss versorgt und liefert direkt L\u00e4ngen- oder Geschwindigkeitsdaten bzw. Durch die Bewegung der streuenden Oberfl\u00e4che wird das in den Detektor r\u00fcckgestreute Licht in der Intensit\u00e4t moduliert, wobei die Frequenz der Helligkeitsmodulation direkt proportional zur Geschwindigkeit des Mediums und somit zur Doppler-Frequenz ist. Die Verwendung spezieller Marken oder Ma\u00dfst\u00e4be auf dem Messobjekt ist nicht n\u00f6tig. Das gestreute Licht wird dann \u00fcber einen Photodetektor in ein elektrisches Signal umgewandelt und \u00fcber einen Analog \/ Digital Umsetzer einem Digitalen Signalprozessor (DSP) zugef\u00fchrt.
