Fabric inspection acc. MID 2014/32 for hard-to-measure materials
Textiles, fabrics, artificial leather, laminated materials are sold by length and must therefore be measured on calibrated fabric inspection machines. This is always the case, if the product is sold within the EU. If the goods are difficult to measure due to their elasticity, softness, thickness and structure, the use of non-contact, calibrated length measurement systems are an obvious choice. Non-stretchable and non-yielding goods can also be measured with calibrated contact length measurement systems. ELOVIS offers machine vision operators and manufacturers non-contact laser encoder-based and measuring wheel-based MID systems including printer connection and interface for the production data acquisition. ELOVIS can also provide advice and support for MID conformity assessment!
